Blizzard wolves are powerless and take pride in this fact. They do not approve of wolves with powers and therefore shun those who posses them. This Pack is very strict on ranks and has a very distinct hierarchy. Newly invited wolves are welcome but must earn a proper rank.
They have a very high respect for members of the spirit pack for they have given them the greatest gift of all, a special statue that blocks out all powers from being used on the territory. Only one spot on the territory is amune to this effect.
Wolves who are discovered to have powers are stripped of rank and forced to be Omega's, or even worse banished from the pack to be rogues.
Alpha is the highest rank in the pack, it can be taken up by a single wolf or a mated pair. The alpha makes most of the desicions for the pack, with help of his or her most trusted subordinates. All wolves must respect the Alpha's rank.
Beta is the second highest rank, the beta wolf is picked by the Alpha. Like the Alpha rank it can be a single wolf or a mated pair. When the Alpha is a way or simply too busy to take of thing's the Beta's are permitted to make a pack desicion.
Healers are valued in the pack, as they take care of any sick or wounded members. They go through intense training that lasts 3 years.
The Healer's Aprentice is the wolf in training, next in line taking the current Healer's rank when he or she dies or simply gets too old.
Deltas are the most common rank in the pack. The are in charge of hunting, scouting, fighting and defending. All Deltas must be loyal to the pack.
Delta's may be specialised in certain pack duties such as: a Hunter, Fighter, Patroller or Spy. Even so all Deltas are the same rank, some may be more dominant then others but they are all equal.
Pups of the pack are from ages 0 to 2 years of age. From the ages of 0 to 6 months they enjoy a carefree life, being pampered and played with by the other wolves of the pack. But once passed 6 months they go on to being paired with a mentor chosen by the alpha and spend their days training to be a Blizzard wolf.
The old canines in the pack who can no longer be of service, they aren't very useful but nonetheless are given respect. They have already done there duties and are taken care of by the Omega's. They spend most of there times telling stories and lounging around the territory.
Omega is the lowest possible rank in the pack. These wolve are out casts and usually posses powers or have betrayed the pack in some way. They are given the most annoying of chores, such as: Tending to the Elder's(Getting food, Grooming, Fetching thing's for them), Tending to recent mothers(Getting food, Cleaning pups, Cleaning up after the pups) And Cleaning away the waste of rotting, uneaten food.

Tradition:
The alpha challenge is a tradition in the Blizzard wolves, it decided who will become next in the spot light. Once a new Alpha has won the previous Alpha becomes retired, they either become Delta's or Elder's and a new Beta is chosen, the current Beta's are made Deltas or Elders. It may take a while for the pack to accept the new high ranking wolves. Challenges are held on the night of a full moon.
Rules:
Current tradition:
Nothing so far has changed.
How it applies in role play:
If you wish your wolf to become alpha you can leave a request for a challenge in the Forum under challenges. Winner is determined by a vote before the fight starts. Current alpha vs. Challenger then who ever wins the vote is the winner in the Rped battle.
Tradition:
All new wolves start at a low rank in the pack and must work their way up to higher ranks. If your wolf is found to have powers they will remain at the bottom. Wolves born in the pack don't have to participate in this tradition, once old enough they graduate to become Delta.
Current Tradition:
Nothing changed.
How it applies in roleplay:
The first few days of joining your wolves rank is low, after 3-4 days your wolf becomes Delta. This tradition only applies to those who have just joined the pack, and not those who have been born into it.
Tradition:
All pups of age 6 months + must be trained to become a active member in Blizzard wolf society. Each canine is given a Mentor(A Delta who specifies in the domain you wish your character to specialize in). Mentor's and apprentices are chosen by the Alpha of the pack, in rare cases it will be the Beta.
Current tradition:
Nothing has changed.
How it applies in role play:
When you character is old enough just post a comment in the training area to request a Mentor or an Apprentice and one will be provided for you.
